Three people were taken for medical treatment after two boats collided last night near Cranberry Creek in Huron.

Cleveland media outlets report that 1 person is still missing, with search and rescue to likely resume this morning.

The Erie County Health Department has released their latest weekly COVID-19 update.

From the time frame of November 7th to 13th, there were 339 new reported cases and 3 deaths; bringing the death toll to 247.

Nearly 54 percent of Erie County residents are fully vaccinated for COVID.

In other COVID numbers, 5,600 cases were reported on Tuesday, more than the 21-day rolling average of 4,100.

Huron County had 49 new reported cases on Tuesday.

A Pfizer Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic takes place today at Edison High School in Milan.

The clinic runs from 4 to 6 pm, and children ages 5 to 11 do not have to be an Edison student to receive the vaccine.

Registration is required.

Another Pediatric COVID Vaccine Clinic is planned at Sandusky City Schools this Monday.

A Vietnam War veteran from Elyria…Dexter Gray Junior…has a new roof over his head, thanks to a national program that helps veterans-in-need.

Owens-Corning works with local veterans groups and local contractors, such as Franciscus Roofing of Westlake to make it happen.

Gray served 2 years in Vietnam and has been treated for P-T-S-D…

Sandusky’s Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony has been planned for later this month.

It’s scheduled for Friday, November 26th at 6:00 pm at Washington Park, downtown.

It will feature live music from Sandusky High School choirs and a visit from Santa.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says, Lorain County’s newest roundabout…at Route 113 and Baumhart Road…could open this weekend.

The intersection has been closed since September.

Wellington’s next Village manager will be coming to Lorain County from Missouri.

A 14-member search committee has chosen Jonathan Greever to replace Steve Dupee, who moved to central Ohio.

Greever will begin his new position December 13th.

The State of Ohio has designated University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, an ‘adult level-three trauma center’ for treatment of serious injuries.

The designation follows a process that spanned several years.

It’s that time again…for Shoebox Christmas with Victory Kitchen in Sandusky.

The shoeboxes will then be distributed towards Christmastime to children and families in need in the Sandusky area.

Today, the Second Harvest Food Bank will host a drive-thru mobile food pantry at Brookside High School on Harris Road.

It’ll run from 4:30 until 6.
