The Erie County Health Department and Erie County Community Health Center have announced that they’ll be providing school-based COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5 to 11.
The first clinic will take place this Wednesday at Edison High School in Milan from 4 to 6 pm.
Another clinic has been planned at Sandusky City Schools on November 22nd from 3 to 6 pm.
Registration is required; and children do not have to be a student at either school to receive one of the Pfizer pediatric vaccines.

In COVID-19 figures…
Statewide, there were 3,600 reported cases on Sunday, just under the 21-day rolling average of 3,900.
26 new cases were reported in Huron County on Sunday; 105 in Lorain County.
The Ohio Department of Health reports, the percentage of Ohioans who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 stands at 52-percent.

Today, Lorain County Public Health will host a drive-thru Flu and COVID vaccination clinic.
This one will be for ages 12 and older, and will be held at the North Ridgeville Fire Station on Ranger Way from 1 until pm.

An area man has committed his eighth OVI offense.
According to the Sandusky Register, 54-year-old Daniel Troike is due in court this week after being arrested last week for his alleged involvement in a non-injury crash on Milan Road in Perkins Township.

After a slight delay, a new roundabout in Huron County has opened to traffic.
According to Norwalk Ohio News.com, the traffic circle at the intersection of Routes 20 and 601 opened Friday, and was built to increase safety by reducing crashes.
The intersection had been closed since early September.

A pulled piece of legislation regarding medical marijuana dispensaries in Norwalk led to last week’s city council meeting being canceled.
The Norwalk Reflector reports that councilman Tom Dunlap pulled legislation that would’ve prevented such dispensaries from being located in Norwalk, if it was passed.
This comes after multiple medical marijuana dispensaries contacted the city about possibly setting up shop there.
