The Lorain County Grand Jury has indicted a former coach and volunteer at Lake Ridge Academy in North Ridgeville on sex charges.
38-year-old Jason Dimacchia is accused of sexually assaulting a student on campus during the 2020/21 school year.
He’s scheduled to be in court next week.
Police in Lorain are asking for your help in sorting out what happened Wednesday evening on the 23-hundred block of West 24th.
What DID happen…a 2-year-old boy was struck by gunfire while sitting in a high chair.
The boy was taken to a hospital in Cleveland.
One man has been arrested…26-year-old Benjamin Richardson has been charged with ‘felonious assault’.
It’s a felony charge for a Bellevue man who allegedly voted twice in the same election.
According to Norwalk Ohio News.com, Huron County prosecutors say that 50-year-old Harry DuPont Jr., who’s been charged with illegal voting; voted in-person in Sandusky County (where he’s registered) and also voted again in Huron County on a provisional ballot.
A fire has left a Willard-area home a total loss.
The Norwalk Reflector reports that the blaze happened Tuesday on Egypt Road in Norwich Township, with the cause of the fire under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
There was no word of any injuries.
Bellevue Police are looking for a man they say was possibly involved in an accident yesterday afternoon on Kilbourne Street.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding Benjamin Blair.

Honors for a teacher at Marion-L-Steele High School in Amherst…
A New York-based non-profit has named Emily Marty, the “Ohio History Teacher of the Year”.
Emily has taught at the high school for 8 years.
The Chronicle Telegram says, they are NOT ending ‘carrier home delivery’.
But HOW your newspaper is delivered, will change, at least for now.
Circulation Director Gary Cozart says, this year has presented ‘unprecedented challenges’, so beginning tomorrow, the print edition of the Chronicle will be delivered by the U-S Postal Service, Monday through Saturday.
C-T personnel will deliver the Sunday edition.
