A Sandusky man faces multiple charges after his girlfriend accused him of making threats towards her.
According to the Sandusky Register, 60-year-old Herman Galindo is charged with kidnapping, aggravated menacing and a threat of domestic violence.
Police say both Galindo and the woman were intoxicated while speaking with them.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has unveiled ‘H2-Ohio’, a data-driven water quality plan that aims to reduce harmful algal blooms, improve wastewater infrastructure, and prevent lead contamination.
The Ohio General Assembly invested $172 million in the plan in July.
The City of Willard is asking residents to complete a 10-question survey in regard to recreational offerings.
The city says that they are looking into a possible state grant, up to $200,000, that would be used to expand their recreation options.
The survey can be found on the city’s Facebook page or can be downloaded from the city’s website (willardohio.us)…with a deadline of December 2nd to finish.
An upcoming road closure in Huron County…
Rome Greenwich Road, between Alpha and Omega roads, will be shut down next Monday through Friday…but will be reopened daily after working hours at around 3:30 pm.
The Center Ridge Road widening project in North Ridgeville will soon be moving into its third year, and the Ohio Department of Transportation wants to bring everyone up to speed.
ODOT will host an informational meeting…from 6 to 7pm Tuesday…at the North Ridgeville Academic Center.
The people have spoken, and they say, the winner of this year’s “Best Burger Battle”…presented by Visit Lorain County…comes from “Your Pit BBQ” in Vermilion.
A dozen restaurants in Lorain County competed for the bragging rights over 10 days last month.
