The National Weather service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of northern Ohio.
Parts of northeast Ohio could get up to 10 inches of snow by Wednesday morning.
If the snow does hit, ODOT says to make sure to give their crews room while they’re out clearing the roads.
This area is expected to see at least 4 inches or so of the white stuff over the next couple of days.
It’s Veterans Day…with local communities and schools hosting events that honor military members…for example…
At Edison High School, they’re hosting a special assembly recognizing Erie County veterans listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.
Willard High School is holding a Veteran’s Day breakfast and assembly this morning.
In Sandusky, a Veteran’s Day ceremony will take place later this morning at First Presbyterian Church on Jackson Street.
One person was injured Sunday night in motorcycle accident on Chestnut Ridge Road in Elyria.
According to the Chronicle Telegram, at least one person was taken to the hospital for further treatment after the crash.
The Elyria fire department says, they treated a person on the scene that appeared to have lost control of the vehicle.
A Toledo man faces human trafficking charges in Erie County.
According to the Sandusky Register, 42-year-old Dominque Wilson allegedly trafficked a developmentally disabled woman to a Huron business.
The charges stem from a law enforcement operation in July in which Wilson was among nine people arrested.
Funeral services are planned for Wednesday morning for a Vermilion 8th grader who passed away unexpectedly last week.
13-year-old Brooke Adams died Wednesday evening at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital following issues related to a seizure.
Some local road construction updates…
In Huron County, crews are expected this week to be completing striping and final clean-up work in Wakeman on the Route 20 bridge over the Vermilion River. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained.
In Erie County, Route 61, just south of Hill Road in Berlin Heights; will close Tuesday for a culvert replacement. A detour route is planned. The road will likely reopen next Tuesday, the 19th.
Of course, these projects are all weather permitting.
